TECHNICAL SERGEANT JOSEPH O. PARK
Sergeant Joseph Park is a Public Affairs broadcast journalist assigned to the 341st Missile Wing Public Affairs Office, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont.. Sergeant Park’s duties include providing video coverage for numerous wing-level events, uploading videos to the installation website and official social media sites, as well as reviewing video products for security and accuracy. He also responds to media queries, noise complaints, and community relation requests in the third largest media market in Montana.
Sergeant Park joined the military as an Airman First Class in September of 2007. After Basic Military Training, he attended the Keesler Weather Training School at Keesler AFB, Miss. He graduated in June, 2008, and was stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz. After five years at Davis-Monthan AFB, the Sergeant cross-trained into broadcast journalism, and was stationed at Maxwell AFB, Ala.
Prior to his current position, the Sergeant was a broadcast journalist for the 8th Fighter Wing, Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea.
