MC1 Litzenberger, a native of Athens, Georgia, was born December 3, 1990. He reported to Recruit Training Command October 2, 2013. After completing boot camp and Mass Communication Specialist “A” School in June 2014, he reported to USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), where he earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification.
In 2018, he reported for duty at Commander, Submarine Group Seven, located in Yokosuka, Japan. While assigned to Submarine Group Seven, MC1 Litzenberger served as the Deputy Public Affairs Officer, Command Fitness Leader, and Navy Area Command Communication Center Training Coordinator, and was promoted to the rank of First Class Petty Officer. He also enrolled into the Defense Information School’s Advanced Distributed Learning Public Affairs Qualification Course and qualified as an enlisted Public Affairs Officer.
MC1 Litzenberger’s personal decorations and military awards include: Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 Awards), Good Conduct Medal (2 Awards), and National Defense Service Medal.
