YOKOSUKA, Japan (December 28, 2020) - Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Haley Jane Harrell, a native of Fairhope, Alabama, was recently named Submarine Group 7’s Bluejacket of the Year. In addition to qualifying for several critical watches, she was recognized for serving in two key supervisory watchstations, earning her Information Dominance Warfare pin, identifying areas for improvement and establishing standard operating procedures for communications between units operating in the 5th and 7th Fleet.
