Staff Sgt. Marc Wilson
Staff Sergeant Marc Wilson is a Public Affairs Specialist at the 179th Airlift Wing (AW), Mansfield Lahm Air National Guard Base, Ohio. As a Public Affairs Specialist, he is responsible for documenting and distributing Public Affairs (PA) material, creating video imagery products to be accessioned by the Defense Video Imagery Distribution System (DVIDS), and assist in implementing Public Affairs (PA) policies that represent command priorities.
SSgt. Wilson enlisted as a traditional guard member in November 2016. His first assignment was to the 179th Airlift Wing as a Public Affairs Broadcast Journalist, Mansfield Lahm ANGB, Ohio. His duties include video documentation and editing, publishing material to official channels, working with outside media to coordinate communications with base officials, and implementation of Public Affairs policies as they apply to the Air National Guard.
