SPC. Destinee Rodriguez is stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington, where she is assigned to the 5th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment (5th MPAD), as a public affairs mass communications specialist.
She has been the administrative NCO since December 2022. SPC Rodriguez has worked closely with each member of her company to ensure that proper and effective processes are put in place.
While at the 5th MPAD, SPC Rodriguez has been forward deployed to Europe in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve from February 2022 to November 2022. While overseas, SPC Rodriguez has provided coverage and content for multiple units including 7th ATC, V Corps, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), 5th SFAB, and 3rd ID. During her time in garrison, SPC Rodriguez has produced products for units such as I Corps and 555th Engineer Brigade.
She joined the Army September 13, 2020, and she attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Meade, Mayland where she was awarded the MOS 46S upon completion of AIT.
SPC Destinee Rodriguez was born September 1, 1999, in Porterville California. Growing up in a military family, SPC Rodriguez spent her childhood and teenage years between homes, choosing to live by the principle: “Home is where the heart is”. She attended Yelm High School, and is currently working on getting her Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
