    U.S. Army Sergeant Jacob C. Bradford is a Mass Communication Public Affairs Specialist assigned to XVIII Airborne Corps Public Affairs at Fort Liberty, North Carolina. He began the Calendar year of 2023 in support of XVIII Airborne Corps by providing social media coverage for Scarlet Dragon, an exercise focused on AI integration into military systems. Sgt. Bradford gathered content for the Military Working Dog Handler Competition in late February, early March. His public affairs products reached more than 10 thousand people in XVIII Airborne Corps' social media presence. Sgt. Bradford's work ethic and expertise was lauded by the 550th Military Working Dog Detachment, 16th Military Police Brigade who hosted the event. Sgt. Bradford directly impacted strategic communication, diligently telling the story of Military Working Dog Handlers and their faithful companions. The month of March placed Sgt. Bradford in support of 2nd Security Forces Assistance Brigade (SFAB) to provide coverage for training 18th Field Artillery Brigade, an XVIII Airborne Corps asset. He leveraged his technical expertise, producing a video story, 2 B-roll packages and a social media video to inform global audiences of 2nd SFAB's capabilities. His public affairs products were shared by U.S. Army Forces Command and reached over 8,000 views. Sgt. Bradford produced 5 videos and 12 images in support of 74th Engineer Dive Detachment (EDD), 20th Engineer Brigade, another XVIII Airborne Corps asset. The 74th EDD collaborated with the U.S. Navy to conduct port damage repair on Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia in August. In September they participated in MURENG 23, a multinational engagement involving divers from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Royal Australian Navy, Republic of Korea Navy and Royal New Zealand Navy in Guam. His public affairs products were downloaded over 90 times on DVIDS. Sgt. Bradford directly impacted strategic communication, diligently telling the story of the divers working to keep ports in working condition and strengthening national security. Sgt. Bradford concluded his year by receiving a special promotion and being transferred to XVIII Airborne Corps Public affairs from the 22nd Mobile Public Affairs detachment. Sgt. Bradford provided coverage to the first ever Sandhills Project, an experiment to deliver robotic, autonomized breaching solutions to large-scale combat operations hosted by 20th Engineer Brigade. He worked hand in hand with the 20th Engineer Brigade to produce a video that was shown to the Chief of Staff of the Army, General Randy A. George and Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael R. Weimer. Through his videos, he conveyed to the public that our Army is actively developing solutions aimed at reducing casualties during initial engagements.
