The U.S. Army Reserve and the 78th Training Division hosts the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Summit in Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Mar. 8 and 9, 2025. The Summit included presentations from doctors, experts, and Brig. Gen. Carlos Gorbea, the commanding general for the 1st Mission Support Command. Gorbea spoke on the implementation of the H2F program within his command, the benefits, and emphasized the programs holistic approach to total Soldier wellness as a metric of readiness.

The event is held annually during Christmas to integrate new soldiers and their families, allowing them to communicate and celebrate the season. It also aims to form stronger, more motivated, and resilient teams ready to accomplish missions.
