On May 15th, the 4th Infantry Division Band was assigned to operate the Urban Orienteering Course for the 2013 Soldier and NCO of the year competition. The soldiers chosen to compete in the Soldier and NCO of the Year Competition facd a number of obstacles prior to the Urban Orienteering Course. They withstood a barrage of examinations measuring their warrior tasks and skills, military bearing, and leadership. The soldiers in the years competition exemplify the attributes needed to be a successful leader in todays Army.
