MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII - Mālama Ka ‘Āina, a Hawaiian expression, translates to “care of the land.” Mālama Ka ‘Āina is hosted semi-annually on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, as all hands participate in the base-wide clean up of all buildings and grounds. MCBH executes proper solid waste disposal and enforcement procedures for littering to prevent, control, and decrease solid waste pollution in Hawaii.
