U.S. Army soldiers assigned to the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Band Chorus launches Defender Europe Swift Response 23 in order to build readiness and interoperability between U.S. NATO and partner militaries in Spain during April 19-28, 2023. DE23 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa-led exercise focused on the strategic deployment of continental United States-based forces, employment of Army prepositioned stocks, and interoperability with allies and partners.
