The David O. Cooke Excellence in Public Administration Award and the Distinguished Civilian Service Awards are two of the highest granted to DoD civilian employees.
The recipients reflect exceptional devotion to duty and impact to efficiency, economy, or other improvements to the Departmentā€™s operations that are of a significantly broad scope. Due to COVID the recipients received their awards within their nominating components.
