The Missouri National Guard has released its seventh episode of “MO Guard TV,” a half-hour television program showcasing the efforts of Citizen-Soldiers, Airmen and Family members throughout the Show-Me State.
The program, which has a news magazine flair, was developed by Maj. Gen. Steve Danner, the Missouri National Guard adjutant general. His goal for the program is to give the public deeper insight into the National Guard’s role at home and abroad.
Highlights of this episode include a soldier competing in world-wide Jiu-jitsu tournaments; a look at mid-evil times and a guardsman recently crowned Ms. Missouri. The program is available in high definition.
The Missouri National Guard is a robust force made up of more than 11,500 Soldiers and Airmen. Since 2001, Missouri Guardsmen have supported more than 18,000 overseas deployments, and in the past 10 years more than 10,000 Guardsmen have mobilized for state emergency missions, Danner said. Available in high definition.
