U.S. Marines instruct on fundamentals of Combat Rubber Reconnaissance Craft (CRRC) to Royal Cambodian Navy Sailors at Ream Naval Base, Sihanoukville, Cambodia, Nov. 1. Training between U.S. and Cambodian service members took place during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 16. CARAT 2016 is a nine-country, bilateral exercise series between the United States and Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, and Timor-Leste. This phase of CARAT focuses on partnerships between the forces of the US and Cambodia, and Brunei.
