Aircrews from various units throughout the Coast Guard flew to Coast Guard Air Station Savannah at Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Ga., to pre-stage aircraft and crews for Hurricane Irma response, Sept. 10, 2017. Aircrews from Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, Mass., Air Station Hitron, Jacksonville, Fla., Air Station Miami, Air Station Elizabeth City, N.C., and Air Station Detroit all arrived in order to conduct response efforts once the hurricane passed affected areas.
