Soldiers with the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division conduct a tactical road march from the Grafenwoehr Training Area to the Hohenfels Training Area in southeast Germany, April 22-23, 2018. The movement was the first time a brigade-sized element of U.S. Army armored vehicles had conducted a tactical road march on public German roads in Bavaria since 2003. The road march was part of exercise Combined Resolve X, a bi-annual U.S. Army Europe exercise designed to build readiness for the U.S. Army regionally-allocated combat brigades to Europe. Combined Resolve X included more than 3,700 participants from 13 allied and partner nations at the Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels Training Area, April 9-May 12, 2018.
