The ACFT, which will replace the current Army Physical Fitness Test in Oct. 2020, is split into six events including the three repetition maximum deadlift, standing power throw, hand release push-up, sprint-drag-carry, leg tuck and two-mile run. These Soldiers also serve as master fitness trainers for the Indiana National Guard and have been preparing for months to tackle the rigors of the new U.S. Army fitness test of record.
