    Narration:
Seventeen soldiers from the 88th and 901st Military Police Detachments at Camp Zama recently conducted a combat qualification course for the M4 and M9 rifles at Camp Fuji in order to earn their marksmanship qualification. They also took part in the Law Enforcement Weapons Training and Qualification, or LEWTAQ, which is a newly introduced requirement for MPs across the Army.

Interview: CPT Amie Young, Commander 88th and 901st Military Detachments

    Narration:
During a dry run of the training, senior NCOs from the MP detachments received training on a variety of movement and weapon-transition drills, which required them to fire at distances ranging from 3 to 50 meters.

Interview: SSG Alexiis Lee, LEWTAQ Instructor, 88th MP Detachment

Interview: SGT Zachary Shinkle, Military Police Officer, 88th MP Detachment

    Narration:
The recorded LEWTAQ training, the one that will count for qualification purposes, will take place later in the spring, giving the MPs some additional time to prepare.
