Marines and Sailors of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Alaska conduct relevant, realistic training to enhance interoperability, readiness and Arctic capabilities. Approximately 3,000 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel are participating in Arctic Expeditionary Capabilities Exercise (AECE), a joint training exercise that tests expeditionary logistical capabilities in the Arctic region and prepares joint forces to respond to crises across the Indo-Pacific.
