On January 1st, 2020, newly eligible customers, including veterans with service-connected disabilities, Purple Heart recipients, former Prisoners of War, and primary caregivers will be able to shop the commissary, military exchanges and use morale, welfare and recreation retail activities.
The expanded privileges and access to about 3 million new patrons, are the result of the Purple Heart and Disabled Veterans Equal Access Act of 2018.
