Paratroopers of 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment (Airborne) participate in Kister's Crucible at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany. This training event provided Paratroopers of 1-91 CAV the opportunity to prove their skills on their weapon systems, equipment and duties on a controlled range. While on the range; live ammo, coordination between teams / trucks going down the lane and a series of engagements helped simulate combat situations that paratroopers face in combat.
The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army’s Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to the United States Europe, Africa and Central Commands areas of responsibilities. Forward deployed across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance.
