U.S. Army paratroopers assigned to 2-503rd Airborne Infantry Regiment "The Rock" challenged the hills and valleys of Poček, Slovenia to build combat readiness at the platoon level during Exercise Rock Klescman, March 3, 2020.

Exercise Rock Klescman is a joint training exercise between Slovenian Armed Forces and elements from the 173rd Airborne Brigade taking place at Poček Training Area in Slovenia. The exercise is designed to strengthen interoperability between Slovenian and U.S. forces as well as increase the confidence and lethality of platoons within 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment.

The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army’s Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to Europe, Africa and Central Commands areas of responsibilities. Forward deployed across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance.
