To help ensure that the memory of fallen Sky Soldiers do not fade, the 173rd Airborne Brigade observed Memorial Day with a Remembrance Ceremony on Del Din. The ceremony was held today under strict COVID mitigation procedures, including masks, physical distance and limited attendance. Throughout the history of the 173rd Airborne Brigade, our Paratroopers have paid the ultimate price for our freedoms. While Sky Soldiers may leave this earth, we can see in the memorials across Caserma Del Din and Ederle, on Tower Barracks, in Fort Benning, Georgia, and in the national military cemeteries spread across the globe, they will never leave our memory.
