A U.S. Air National Guard C-130H aircraft assigned to the 302nd Airlift Wing departs the Klamath Falls Airtanker Base to provide aerial fire fighting surge capabilities to the U.S. Forest Service during their Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System (MAFFS) mission, Aug. 9, 2023. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the trusted and valued partnership between the Department of Defense and the U.S. Forest Service.
