U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. James A. Ryans II, commanding general of Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego and Western Recruiting Region, delivers the opening remarks, engages with coaches and participates in a panel at the National Association of Basketball Coaches annual convention in Phoenix, Ariz., on April 5, 2024. The Marines and NABC are committed to offering the opportunity to develop new relationships with basketball coaches to build trust and create a larger pool of advocates to access talented young men and women.
