Levi H. Voss was born on March 7, 1997 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He graduated from Lavaca High School in May of 2015 . He joined the Delayed Entry Program in August of 2019. He shipped to boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego August 19, 2019 where he was in India Company, platoon 3210. He graduated on November 15, 2019 and reported to Marine Combat Training (MCT), Camp Pendleton, CA on November 26, 2019. Upon completion of MCT on December 23, 2019 he reported to FT Meade, Maryland, for the Mass Communication Foundations Course at the Defense Information School.
He was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal May 1, 2020 while at the Defense Information School. He successfully completed Lance Corporals Leadership and Ethics Seminar on August 4, 2020. He graduated from the Mass Communication Foundations course July 10, 2020. He then attended the follow-on Visual Documentation Course which he graduated from September 10, 2020.
Lance Cpl. Voss's awards include Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and National Defense Service Medal.
