Lance Cpl. Aaron Toffling, an assaultman from West Topsham, Vt., uses music as a way to stay in touch with home while on his second deployment with 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment. Toffling, who began playing music when he was a student at Oxbow High School before graduating in 2008, has continued during his time in the Marine Corps as a means to stay connected to his past.
