    U.S. Air Force Gen. Gary L. North, Pacific Air Forces commander, and Col. Sam C. Barrett, 15th Wing commander, present a wreath on behalf of the men and women of Pacific Air Forces during the the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam remembrance ceremony in recognition of the 70th anniversary of the 1941 Japanese attacks on Hickam Field. Airmen, their families and veterans gathered at the Atterbury Circle flagpole, the site of the same flagpole that stood Dec. 7, 1941. The ceremony was held to honor the survivors of the attacks and remember the 238 Army Air Corps airmen who died defending Hickam Field.
