The event took place at Fathomwerx Lab, located at the Port of Hueneme. Panelists answered fun questions, like their favorite holiday and favorite color, and also discussed the challenges they faced on the road to becoming engineers. Panelists included (seated from left): Itzel Godinas, physical scientist, NAVFAC EXWC; Priscilla Luu-Villa, computer engineer and systems engineer, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division in China Lake, California; Alma Rubalcava and Joyceanne Sim, mechanical engineers at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division in Port Hueneme; Paige Barylsky, general engineer in NAVFAC EXWC’s advanced ocean technology division; and Madeleine White, an environmental engineer with NAVFAC EXWC.
