A memorial service in honor of retired U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen.
Lawrence F. Snowden was held at the United States Marine Memorial Chapel,
Marine Corps Base Quantico in Quantico, Va., April 8, 2017. Snowden, who
retired in 1979 after nearly 40 years of service, fought in engagements during
World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
