Aviation Ordnanceman 2nd Class Jose Serrano, Navy Operational Support Center Ventura County, visits with U.S. Army World War II veteran Freddie Broshack at the Veteran’s Home of Ventura. Sailors from NOSC Ventura County visited the facility to spend time with veterans and pay them tribute. Organized by VITAS Innovative Hospice Care and VHV, the Spirit of '45 celebration gave younger service members a chance to share stories with their predecessors.
