The 1st Marine Division Band performed at a retirement ceremony for Sgt. Maj. Harrison L. Tanksley, recent Sergeant Major of I Marine Expeditionary Force Forward, aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Aug. 29. During the ceremony, Tanksley received a Bronze Star for superior professionalism and inspiring leadership during his recent one year deployment to Afghanistan.
