Spc. Shannon Siers, combat engineer, 571st Sapper Company, 14th Engineers Battalion, 555th Engineers Brigade, measures his heart rate using a bio feedback sensor, the sensor allows soldiers to look at moment to moment changes in their heart rate after being put through a stressful situation. The company conducted a stress firing range as part of their Comprehensive soldier and family fitness preparation. The event consisted of soldiers firing at targets after conducting multiple repetitions of burpees. This event was designed to test the soldiers on attention control, blocking surrounding distractions and managing their focus, Aug. 28.
