Spec. Samantha Carmickle, the assistant administrative specialist for Bravo Troop, 1st of the 152nd Cavalry sings "Fancy" for TQ Idol, during the Independence Day celebration. Carmickle was one of many performers who went before the judges to compete for the $200 grand prize. "It's a good break from the norm," the Paoli, Ind., native said about the competition.
