Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission delegates from Sweden and Switzerland have been overseeing the various events of Exercise Key Resolve/Foal Eagle (KR/FE) 2008. While not taking part in the exercise, the commission is responsible for ensuring no hostile actions are taking place during the exercise and that the ceasefire between North and South Korea is still in force. KR/FE 2008 is an annual combined/joint exercise involving forces from both the U.S. and the Republic of Korea. This exercise provides training to further enhance interoperability and combat readiness, while also demonstrating both countries' commitment to the ROK/US alliance.
