Marines from III Marine Expeditionary Force and a representative from the World Food Program discuss and plan for a humanitarian assistance/disaster relief scenario during the Pacific Resilience field training exercise. Pacific Resilience allows for practices to be tested, gaps to be identified and addressed, and cooperative efforts to be reinforced. This exercise is the second phase of the Nepal Table-Top Exercise led by the Nepal Army. Activities like this strengthen both countries’ bilateral relationship, increase the ability to save lives, protect property, and prepare for the next major disaster.(U.S. Marine Corps photo by 1st Lt.
