An unidentified U.S. Marine assigned to the 1st Battalion of the 8th Marines Battalion sets up a 60mm mortar system on the Infantry Battle Course at Fort Pickett, V. A. in support of students attending the Infantry Unit Leaders Course (IULC) at the Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry-East (SOI-E), Aug. 26, 2013. IULC is a course designed for Marine infantry staff non commissioned officers that prepares them for the rigors of being a platoon sergeant in an infantry platoon.
