A young girl watches her father and other newly-promoted chief petty officers assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) sing "Anchors Aweigh" on the stage of the base theater on U.S. Naval Base Guam. Twenty-eight sailors assigned to Frank Cable accepted the responsibilities and duties expected of a chief petty officer in the Navy during a pinning ceremony. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
