Coast Guard members unveil one of two newly restored .50-caliber cannons at the gravesite of Signalman 1st Class Douglas A. Munro during a ceremony held in his honor at Laurel Hill Memorial Park in Cle Elum, Wash., Sept. 27, 2013. Munro, a Cle Elum native, enlisted in the Coast Guard in 1939 and served in Seattle before being fatally wounded by enemy fire on the beaches of Guadalcanal during World War II.
