Lt. Richard Turrin, a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, translates boarding procedures for several Equatorial Guinea Naval Officers during a mock boarding, July 10. Turrin is deployed to the region as a translator aboard the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Dallas under the direction of Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Commander, U.S. Sixth Fleet, in support of Africa Partnership Station. APS is an initiative aimed at strengthening global maritime partnerships through training and other collaborative activities in order to improve global maritime safety and security.
