Army Reserve Col. Jose R. Burgos was confirmed by the U.S. Congress for appointment to the rank of brigadier general and assignment as the commanding general, 1st Mission Support Command, U.S. Army Reserve Puerto Rico. As the commanding general, Burgos will be the senior Army Reserve officer in the Caribbean region.
