Philippine Air Force Staff Sgt. John E. Jonson calls in a “show of force” mission from two F/A-18C Hornets during close air support training Sept. 29 at Crow Valley, Republic of the Philippines part of Amphibious Landing Exercise 2014. The day of training qualified the participating PAF members as forward air controllers. PHIBLEX 14 is focused on interoperability between both nations and also improves security and stability within the region. Jonson is a schoolhouse instructor with 710 Special Operations Wing.
