Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 1st Class James Whitehead, from Miami, gives a signal to the pilot of an EA-18G Growler from the "Shadowhawks" of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 141 after an arrested landing on the flight deck of the U.S. Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73). The George Washington Carrier Strike Group is conducting exercises with the South Korean navy to strengthen maritime interoperability and the U.S.-South Korea alliance.
