Marine Corps Capt. Lydia A. Lester, the company commander for Headquarters and Support Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, pins the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal on Staff Sgt. Melaine D. Weaver, a Jacksonville, Fla., native and G-6 telecommunications chief with H&S Co., 2nd MLG, during an award ceremony aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 4, 2013. Weaver received the award for her performance as an instructor at the Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School, Training Command, Twentynine Palms, Calif., from Jan. 2010 to March 2013.
