Marine Corps Capt. Lydia A. Lester, the company commander for Headquarters and Support Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, pins the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal on Staff Sgt. Joseph E. Morse, a Tampa, Fla., native and internal controls staff noncommissioned officer in charge with 2nd MLG disbursing, during an awards ceremony aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 4, 2013. Morse was awarded for serving as SNCOIC of a directed team to establish all deficiencies in reserve travel from April through June 2012. This is Morse's second Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, receiving a gold star in lieu of his second award.
