Capt. Earl Shaw explains the capabilities of the AH-1W Super Cobra to a family at Clark Air Field, Pampanga, Republic of the Philippines Oct. 6 during Amphibious Landing Exercise 2014. The spectators learned about what the aircraft has to offer. PHIBLEX 14 is a bilateral training exercise designed to improve interoperability, increase readiness, and enhance the ability for a bilateral force to respond to natural disasters or other regional contingencies. Shaw is an AH-1W Cobra pilot with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 167, whis part of the aviation combat element for 3d Marine Expeditionary Brigade, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
