Capt. Earl Shaw explains the capabilities of the AH-1W Super Cobra to a family at Clark Air Field, Pampanga, Republic of the Philippines Oct. 6 during Amphibious Landing Exercise 2014. Aircraft on display included the KC-130 Hercules, MV-22B Osprey and AH-1W Super Cobra and gave spectators information on what the aircraft have to offer. PHIBLEX 14 demonstrates the commitment of the U.S. and Republic of the Philippines to mutual security and their long-time partnership. Shaw is an AH-1W Super Cobra pilot with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 167, which is part of the aviation combat element for 3d Marine Expeditionary Brigade, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
