Soldiers from the 529th Military Police Company, Sgt. Joshua D. Grabel, Sgt. John N. Clark, Sgt. Cherita P. Young, Pfc. Rudy Dorame, and Pfc. Jeremy L. Rutledge, demonstrated functions of the Humvee Egress Assistance Trainer while at the Training Support Center in Wiesbaden. The educators were taken around the installation to learn about what the soldiers do on a day to day basis. This included learn how soldiers are taught how to handle a vehicle safely rolling during the demonstration. Conducting such training under controlled conditions will allow vehicle occupants to gain experience in the proper egress procedures. This type of training is necessary for soldiers to achieve self control and overcome natural fear and panic following the catastrophic event when a vehicle becomes inverted in a combat or training mission.
