Edwards, sergeant major at the 8th Marine Corps Recruiting District aboard Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, after receiving his award warrant at Watson's school in Dallas on October 7. Watson collected $690 for Helping Our Heroes foundation while he was doing research on them and at the end of his research he donated the money to the foundation.
