U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Shahied Abdulbarr from Alpha Company, kneels and scans for enemy personnel while waiting to conduct a joint clearing operation with local Abna'a Al Iraq (Sons of Iraq) through a group of small villages, south of Salman Pak, Iraq, Feb. 16. They've been known to have recently been occupied by Al-Qaida members. Alpha Company Soldiers are from 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division.
