U.S. Navy Lt. Brian Mckee, a maintenance officer with Patrol Squadron 47 greets Japan Self Defense Forces' (JSDF) Cmdr. Nobuhiko Morita, at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. Morita is the Deployment Air Force for Counter-Piracy Enforcement unit flight division chief. DAPE personnel toured the squadron's P-3 aircraft to share best practices with the crew and learn more about the avionics systems. CJTF-HOA's mission includes stabilizing and strengthening security in East Africa through military-to-military engagements with partner nations.
